Upcoming Brewing Activities

Greetings Brewers!

It is February and the year has gotten underway with a panel opportunity at Birka.  We have the St. Aegir event on the doorstep and have begun preparations for Brew U (our annual collegium), GNEW, Pennsic, Siege of the Castle Theo d’Ore (Tir Mara).  Other possible activities may be had at Panteria, Roses (both the same weekend), Mudthaw, the Endewearde Hunt, and other events as we can.

Our new panel tool seems to be working well and meeting the needs of the guild, guild members, and panelists.  Several proposals for more guild activities have been proposed to me and I will be following up on those things as the winter winds down.  Local groups are solidifying and are supporting the EKBG with their activities.

I encourage you to consider getting involved in the guild by attending meetings, events, panels, and other activities as you can.  Please know that panels are optional and “climbing the guild ranks” is not necessary to become an active member of the guild.

I look forward to meeting more of you in the year to come!
